Rue Sainte Louis

Starting at the Sainte Louis gate in the centuries old western ramparts is Rue St. Louis, the center of activity in the upper city. Quaint carriages filled with happy visitors file past immaculately kept buildings many of which were constructed in the 1700's. To walk along this street is to be captured in a time machine back to the early settlement of North America.
