The Sentinel building at the corners of Columbus, Kearny and Jackson streets in SF's North Beach shines on a lovely autumn afternoon. The building was started before the 1906 earthquake but survived to be completed in 1907. It's had many owners over the years. Francis Coppola restored the building which now houses its Zeotrope Productions and Zeotrope restaurant. The building is surfaced in copper creating its greenish tone.
